Rooibos cappuccino or latte

  • 1½-2 teaspoons loose rooibos tealeaves or 1-2 teabags
  • boiling water
  • ¼ cup (for cappuccino) or ½ cup (for latte) milk
  • honey
  • ground cinnamon
  1. If using an espresso machine, put the tea (ground or leaves) into the portafilter, and make as per directions. Otherwise add boiling water to the tea and leave to brew until strong.
  2. Use the espresso machine to steam and froth the milk or heat the milk and froth it with a frother.
  3. Add the frothed milk to the hot tea (reheated in microwave if necessary) and top with honey and cinnamon to taste.
The rooibos tea can be replaced with honeybush, green rooibos tea, vanilla rooibos or any of the rooibos boutique blends. // Use the milk of your choice, such as almond, coconut, flax or soy.
