Iced rooibos tea
Refreshing health drink.

  • Rooibos Tea Concentrate
  • Water
  • Sugar to taste

  1. Use a Pyrex measuring jug to make a concentrate of rooibos tea – add 4-5 rooibos tea bags to a cup of boiling water. Set aside to steep and cool down.
  2. Never add hot/boiling water to a glass water jug as it could easily crack!
  3. When cool, pour the concentrate into an attractive jug with two to three cups of cold water. Flavor to taste with some sugar or honey (if desired) and fill the jug with crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh mint leaves.
Rooibos tea has a distinctive flavor and is a refreshing drink without sugar.

Instead of water, fresh orange and lemon juice, lemonade, cranberry, pineapple, peach or mixed berry juice can be added to dilute the concentrate.
